About this Project

In 2018, the Southern Arizona Leadership Council hosted the Southern Arizona Innovation Economy Forum in Tucson. This forum gathered leaders and entrepreneurs in Arizona to explore what we as a region could do to better support startups in our community.

One gap that arose out of this forum was the need for an online, user-friendly, guide that profiles all the resources and organizations in Southern Arizona available to help entrepreneurs, small businesses and startups -- a one-stop-shop for founders to find the support they need to take their next steps.

It was out of this need that this project was created. With funding from SALC and oversight from the Digital Guide Advisory Committee composed of SALC members, Startup Tucson created this Guide in 2020.

This guide is regularly updated and maintained by the Startup Tucson team. We hope that this Guide remains a useful tool for entrepreneurs in Arizona and look forward to its continuous improvement.

Startup Tucson is a 501(c)(3) working to transform the Southern Arizona economy through entrepreneurship and innovation.

SALC 's mission is to improve greater Tucson and the state of Arizona by bringing together resources and leadership to enhance the economic climate and quality of life in our communities.
