Chicanos Por La Causa

Multiple (both for-profit and nonprofit arms)

Northwest Tucson, National

Chicanos Por La Causa is an advocate for underserved individuals and communities.

Offerings

Programs & Services

CPLC serves in the muliple  domains of economic development, health and human services, housing, education, and advocacy.

Chicanos Por La Causa is a diverse organization with many subsidiaries and program offerings, however for entrepreneurs, perhaps their most relevant programs are:

Small Business Lending:  Prestamos' mission is to build stronger communities by providing access to affordable capital through non-traditional small business financing resources in Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico.

Workforce Solutions: CPLC Workforce Solutions connects education with employment by partnering with employers to determine their needs and bringing together job seekers to fill open positions. CPLC Workforce Solutions' Hub feels more like a scrappy tech startup than an education facility. The contrast is intentional.

Commercial Development Programs. Our fully-owned for-profit subsidiary La Causa Development in Arizona and in Nevada provides professional expertise in full service real estate development from design to implementation.

Prerequisites or Exclusions

While CPLC was founded specifically to assist Hispanic Communities, all are welcomed to participate in their programs. However, follow up with the organization to learn more about specifically qualifying for each of the programs.

Since then, we have become one of the largest Hispanic nonprofits in the country, promoting stronger and healthier communities throughout the southwestern United States. We provide direct services impacting more than 378,103 individuals annually in Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico.
